Aber der dünnere Bruder (vorne), der immer so aussah wie eine vertrocknete Bohnenstange, von dem man dachte er könne alles in sich hineinstopfen ohne davon zuzunehmen, hat innerhalb von anderthalb Monaten ein richtiges Bäuchlein entwickelt.“

Wenn ich die fettigen Kalorienbomben auf der Bildtafel an der Wand sehe, die du anbietest, wundert mich nur, wie der Sportliche all das noch wegtrainieren kann.

Dieser Junge kam eines Abends bei uns zum Imbiss und fragte mich, ob wir nicht Reste hätten, die wir sowieso wegschmeißen müssten und morgen aus lebensmittelrechtlichen Gründen nicht verkauft werden dürfen. Die würde er zum halben Preis aufkaufen. Ich gab ihm die Reste, da er so nett fragte, so mit. Am nächsten Abend fragte er wieder. Am dritten Abend bestand er darauf zu zahlen. Ich verlangte von ihm zwei Euro. Er kam jeden Tag. Ich vermittelte ihm, dass er nicht zahlen müsse, da wir das ganze sowieso nach deutschem Lebensmittelrecht wegschmeißen müssen.

Mit der Zeit ließ ich immer mehr übrig, und das Ganze hat mittlerweile unübersehbare Folgen. So sieht der ehemals normalschlanke Junge nach drei Monaten aus. Inzwischen kommt er sogar ab und zu mittags, damit er was zurückgeben könne und kauft sich eine Portion, die ich zugegebener Maßen verdoppele. Entweder ist der Junge bis zum Ende des Jahres geplatzt oder er kann sich nur noch rollend vorwärtsbewegen.

He would buy them up at half price. I gave him the leftovers for free because he asked so nicely. He asked again the next evening. On the third evening, he insisted on paying. I asked him for two euros. He came every day. I explained to him that he didn't have to pay because we would have to throw it all away anyway according to German food law.

Over time, I left more and more, and the consequences are now obvious. This is what the once normally slim boy looks like after three months. He now even comes in at lunchtime every now and then so that he can give something back and buys himself a portion, which I admittedly double. Either the boy has burst by the end of the year or he can only move forward by rolling.

Milans Großtante war eine großartige Köchin. Sie sah etwas schlecht und Milan hatte ihr erzählt, er sei untergewichtig. Und da servierte sie ihm fettige Mahlzeiten in großen Portionen und achtete darauf, dass er sie auch immer aufaß. Dazu buk sie immer Kuchen und Kekse für zwischendurch. Er wusste, dass er immer dicker wurde, während er bei seiner Großtante wohnte, aber das war durchaus sein Wunsch. Er freute sich, dass sein Bauch sich immer mehr hervorwölbte und das er oft vollgestopft war. Er stellte sich vor wie es sein würde richtig dick zu werden zu einem fetten Hefekloß, der sich kaum bewegen konnte. Von alten Fotos wusste Milan, dass der lang verstorbene Ehemann seiner Großtante bei der Hochzeit nur leicht pummelig war und wenige Jahre später fast so breit wie hoch.

Milan bekam etwas Angst, als seine Großtante seinen Bauch berührte, der schon etwas rund und weich war. Aber sie klagte nur „Ach herrje! Du bist ja ganz hager und ausgemergelt. So spindeldürr wie du bist muss ich dich wohl noch etwas herausfüttern auf das du etwas Speck ansetzt und etwas mehr Polster auf deinen mageren Körper bekommst. Du sollst bei mir richtig genudelt fühlen auf das du kugelrund, gesund und wohlbeleibt wirst. Wie gut, dass ich schon ein paar Schokokekse in den Ofen geschoben habe. 

Milan betrachtete seinen Bauch und freute sich, dass dieser jeden Tag etwas wachsen würde. 

Milan's great-aunt was a great cook. She had poor eyesight and Milan had told her he was underweight. So she served him greasy meals in large portions and made sure that he always ate them. She always baked cakes and cookies for in between meals. He knew that he was getting fatter and fatter while he was living with his great-aunt, but that was entirely his wish. He was pleased that his belly was bulging out more and more and that he was often stuffed. He imagined what it would be like to become really fat, a big yeast dumpling that could hardly move. Milan knew from old photos that his great-aunt's long-deceased husband was only slightly plump when he got married and a few years later was almost as wide as he was tall.

Milan got a little scared when his great-aunt touched his stomach, which was already a little round and soft. But she only complained "Oh dear! You're so skinny and emaciated. As skinny as you are, I'll probably have to feed you a bit more so that you put on some fat and get a bit more padding on your skinny body. I want you to feel properly stuffed so that you are round as a ball, healthy and well-corpulent. It's a good thing I've already put a few chocolate cookies in the oven.

Ich bin Streetworkerin in einem armen von jugendlichen Schlägereien und Kleinstkriminalität geprägten Viertel. Ich habe der Kommunalregierung ein kleines Programm vorgeschlagen. Es lässt sich bislang sehr gut an. Man muss den Wettbewerbsgeist und das Bedürfnis sich zu messen nur an neuen Stellen lenken. Ich habe die Regel eingeführt, dass derjenige der King, der Sieger ist, der den dicksten Bauch hat von den Kontrahenten. Dazu kriegt jeder der nicht straffällig, oder durch Gewalt aufgefallen ist, überreichlich Junkfood, dass die Jungs so lieben. Schon nach wenigen Wochen zeichnen sich erste Erfolge ab. Dazu noch ein paar cool aussehende Klamotten – Ausschussware von Pseudomarken – in Übergrößen für die aufquellenden Körper und unsere Stadt wird bald befriedet sein. Da die Armutsjungs alle zu vollgefressen, fett und träge für Gewalttaten und kriminelle Handlungen geworden sind.
