Nachweihnachtsproblem

Da hat sich jemand gemästet mit Lebkuchen, Gänsebraten, Stollen und Schokolade.

Looks like someone gorged himselve on gingerbread, roast goose, fruitcake, and chocolate until he was stuffed.

Diesem Teenager sagte man ständig, er solle tüchtig essen, damit er nicht so ein spirreliger Knabe bleibt sondern ein stämmiger Mann wird. Als er den Krapfenstand auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt betreute, tat er dies auch – und dies ist nun das Ergebnis! 

This teenager was constantly told to eat well so that he wouldn't remain a skinny boy but would grow into a sturdy man. When he worked at the doughnut stand at the Christmas market, he did just that—and this is the result!

„Ich habe Rabattgutscheine für den Imbiss gefälscht. Dann wurde ich erwischt, und der Imbiss wollte es der Polizei  melden. Es sei denn, ich würde dort ein paar Wochen umsonst arbeiten. Ich hatte gar nicht gemerkt, dass ich schon ordentlich zugelegt hatte. Aber als beim ersten Mal meine Hose beim bücken am Hintern riss, lachte der Chef und ich musste gar nicht arbeiten. Ich saß hinten und wurde gezwungen die Reste zu essen.“

Du wächst allenfalls noch horizontal. Aber das checkt der Junge erst wenn er rund wie eine Kugel ist – und dann ist es längst zu spät!

"I always grow a little wider before I grow longer. I never thought I'd have such a growth spurt again!" We don't think so either, by the way. At best, you're still growing horizontally. But the boy only realizes that when he's as round as a ball - and by then it's too late!

„Ma, ich dachte im Zoo darf man die Affen nicht füttern?“ „Bist du denn sicher, dass es ein Affe ist? Ich würde vermuten, er gehört zur Familie der Hängebauchschweine.“ „Dann sollte er aber lieber nicht zu nahe an Käfig der Tiger vorbeikommen, sonst denken die noch, es wäre gleich Fütterungszeit.“ Mein Bruder hat zugenommen und wir hatten beim Familienausflug im Zoo unseren Spaß!
 

“Ma, I thought they didn't allow you to feed the primates at the zoo?” “Are you sure he's a primate? I would assume he belongs to the pot-bellied pig family.” “Then he'd better not get too close to the tigers' cage or they'll think it's feeding time.” My brother put on weight and we had a lot of fun on our family trip to the zoo!
