Wer will es den Einheimischen verdenken, wenn sie bei diesem Anblick den Begriff „Touristengrill“ etwas zu wörtlich nehmen.

“Tourist grill” is a fixed term in Germany for beaches overrun by tourists where they sunbathe. Especially on the Mediterranean.

Mastprogramm🐷

„Luca, du bist so umfangreich geworden, dass du ab jetzt ein Sonderprogramm unserer Schule durchlaufen wirst.“

Ängstlich: „Muss ich da extra viel Sport machen?“

Nein, du darfst überhaupt kein Sport machen. Du darfst keine Treppe mehr nehmen, sondern immer den Aufzug. Und du bekommst einen Schrittzähler, denn dir ist es Verboten mehr als tausend Schritte pro Tag zu tun. Ach und du musst von nun an mindestens das doppelte essen.“

Luca war erleichtert, dass die Strafe für seine Zunahme so cool war. „Und wie lange geht das so?“

„Oh in der Regel reichen schon ein bis zwei Monate.“ Bis er reif war gegrillt zu werden. 

"Luca, you've grown so much that from now on you'll be doing a special program at our school."

Anxious: "Do I have to do extra sport?"

"No, you're not allowed to do any sport at all. You're no longer allowed to take the stairs, but always the elevator. And you'll get a pedometer, because you're forbidden to take more than a thousand steps a day. Oh, and you have to eat at least twice as much from now on."

Luca was relieved that the punishment for his weight gain was so cool. "And how long will that last?"

"Oh, usually one to two months is enough." Until he was ready to be grilled.

Das schöne für uns Kannibalen: Die Touristen mästen sich selber. Ist dieser nicht schön appetitlich anzuschauen? Läuft euch nicht auch das Wasser bei dem Anblick im Munde zusammen? Ich fürchte, es gibt für den Burschen ein böses Erwachen. 

The good thing for us cannibals: The tourists fatten themselves up. Isn't he nice and appetizing to look at? Doesn't the sight of it make your mouth water? I'm afraid this guy is in for a rude awakening.

Ich habe meinem Neffen gesagt, er muss nie mehr arbeiten, wenn er alles aufisst was ich ihm vorsetze. Er ist damit sehr zufrieden. Allerdings wird er trotzdem bald schwitzen müssen. Nein, nicht, weil ich für ihn zu scharf gekocht habe, sondern weil er mit ein paar Kilos mehr in meinem Backofen sitzen wird. 

I told my nephew he would never have to work again if he ate everything I put in front of him. He is very happy with that. However, he will still have to sweat soon. No, not because I cooked too spicy for him, but because he will sit in my oven with a few kilos more.

Da mästet sich ein Junge zu einem Fettkloß 🐷

Seit der Nachbarsjunge etwas zugenommen hat, darf er immer kostenlos bei mir essen – die einzige Bedingung: Er muss alles aufessen was ich ihm vorsetze. Wenn er noch drei dutzend Pfund mehr draufgepackt hat verschwindet er in meinem Ofen. 

Since the neighbor's boy has gained some weight, he is always allowed to eat for free at my place - the only condition: He has to eat everything I put in front of him. When he has packed on three dozen pounds more, he disappears into my oven.
