Von Abgrenzung zu den Eltern ist bei der heutigen Generation keine Spur. Der knapp zwanzigjährige Sohn (mampft gerade kalorienreiches Gebäck) scheint stolz zu sein, seinen mehr als doppelt so alten Vater vom Bauchumfang bald eingeholt zu haben. Was er nicht wahrnimmt, dass er mit Ende Zwanzig wahrscheinlich doppelt so „groß“ wie sein Vater ist. 

There's no sign of any dissociation from the parents in today's generation. The almost twenty-year-old son (currently munching on high-calorie pastries) seems proud that he will soon have caught up with his father, who is more than twice his age, in terms of girth. What he doesn't realize is that he is probably twice as "big" as his father in his late twenties.

Attraktiver Nachwuchs:
Man sagt zwar der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm, aber ich bezweifle ob der Vater in dem Alter so einen Bauch hatte.

Da hat wieder ein Sohn den Vater eingeholt, aber wie sagt man doch:

Steht der Vater gut im Futter,

wird der Sohn fett wie Butter.
