Als er seinen Job verlor zog Matthias zu seiner Oma um nicht hungern zu müssen. Nun er bekam mehr als genug zu essen. Sie kochte und buk von früh bis spät für ihn. Sein Bauch begann sich nach zwei Wochen zu runden. Aber seine Oma sagte: „Du musst doch ein kräftiger Bursche werden. Mit einer stämmigen Statur, klappt das sicher auch mit dem Arbeit finden. Wenn die Leute überzeugt sind, dass dich nicht ein Windstoß umweht.“ Matthias fürchtete, wenn er nicht bald finanziell auf eigenen Beinen stehen vermochte, würde er gefüttert werden bis er sich nur noch rollen könnte oder platzte.
When he lost his job, Matthias moved in with his grandmother so he wouldn't have to go hungry. Well he got more than enough to eat. She cooked and baked for him from morning till night. His belly began to round after two weeks. But his grandma said: "You must become a strong lad. With a sturdy build, I'm sure you'll be able to find work. Matthias feared that if he was not soon able to stand on his own two feet financially, he would be fed until he could only roll over or burst.
