Der Junge wusste genau, dass er Weihnachten und Ostern zu viel genascht hat. Ich sagte ihm ich könnte ihm ein paar Sportübungen unter Aufsicht des Sportlehrers verschreiben, dann hätte er innerhalb weniger Wochen abgetrieben. Das wollte er nicht, also habe ich ihm als Alternative eine Sportbefreiung um sich zu schonen und eine Tafel Schokolade täglich verschrieben plus das dreifache Dessert in der Internatskantine. Am Ende des Schuljahres klagte er über zehn Kilo weitere Zunahme.

I told him I could prescribe some exercises under the gym teacher’s supervision, and he’d have it 'aborted' within a few weeks. He didn't want that, so as an alternative, I prescribed a medical excuse from PE to rest up, a chocolate bar every day, plus triple dessert in the boarding school cafeteria. By the end of the school year, he was complaining about another ten kilos of weight gain.

Je lui ai dit que je pouvais lui prescrire de faire du sport en plus sous la supervision du prof de sport, et qu'il aura ainsi "avorté" d'ici quelques semaines. Il ne voulait pas ; donc je lui ai proposé comme alternative de lui prescrire un justificatif médical d'absence du cours de sport pour cause de repos, une barre chocolatée tous les jours, et trois desserts à la cantine. Et à la fin de l'année scolaire, il est revenu geindre d'avoir pris dix kilos de plus.
