Shh!

„Psst erzähle niemanden, dass ich versuche zuzunehmen. Ich habe schon acht Kilo zugenommen. Aber ich gehe niemals mehr oberkörperfrei vom Bad zu meinem Zimmer, damit meine Mutter davon nichts mitkriegt.“ 

Als wäre deine Zunahme noch zu übersehen. Aber deine Zunahme kommt nicht allein von den süßen Teilchen und der Schokolade die du von deinem Taschengeld kaufst. Als deine Mutter gesehen hat, wie du herzhaft zulangst, hat sie immer größere Portionen gekocht. Und ja sie hat auch bemerkt, dass du etwas fülliger wirst. Aber sie sieht das als größtes Lob für ihre Cuisines. Sie ist sonst kaum noch Teil deines Lebens. Dadurch, dass sie dich verwöhnt, hofft sie, dich noch etwas an sich zu binden. 

"Shh, don't tell anyone I'm trying to put on weight. I've already put on eight kilos. But I never walk from the bathroom to my room shirtless anymore so my mother doesn't notice." 

As if your weight gain could be overlooked. But your weight gain isn't just from the sweets and chocolate you buy with your allowance. When your mother saw how much you were gorging, she cooked bigger and bigger portions. And yes, she's also noticed that you're getting a bit fuller. But she sees this as the greatest praise for her Cuisines. Otherwise, she's hardly a part of your life anymore. By spoiling you, she hopes to keep you close to her.
