Ich habe gerade Abitur gemacht. Bei der Abschlusszeugnissübergabe meinte der Direktor schmunzelnd leise zu mir ich hätte wohl nicht nur Wissen angesammelt. Kein Sport mehr und zu viel Nervennahrung haben halt Folgen gehabt. Ich habe halt leise entgegnet: „Nein, ich habe nur so viel Wissen angereichert, dass der Kopf nicht mehr ausreicht und es sich anderswo Platz schaffen musste.“
I have just graduated from high school. At the graduation ceremony, the principal commented quietly to me with a smile that I hadn't just accumulated knowledge. No more sport and eating too much food had simply had consequences. I replied quietly: “No, I just accumulated so much knowledge that my head was no longer big enough and I had to make room for it elsewhere.”
Je suis bachelier. Et à la cérémonie de remise des diplômes, le proviseur m'a calmement, et avec un sourire, commenté sur le fait que je n'avais pas fait qu'accumuler de la connaissance. Plus de sport et un plus grand appétit ont simplement eu raison de moi. J'ai répondu sur le même ton : " Non, j'ai juste tellement accumulé de connaissances que ma tête n'était pas assez grosse pour tout garder, il a fallu trouver de la place ailleurs."
